  1. I want to buy a three day pass for my son who lives in New Orleans. If I pay on-line, how will he get his three day pass? Would you mail it or would he have to pick it up?

    • Hi there –
Once the pass is purchased, a printable ticket PDF is sent to your email address. Once your son gets to City Park, he’ll exchange the printout for a wristband to be worn throughout the weekend. Let us know if you have any additional questions!

    • No information has been released regarding hotels just yet. Look for updates coming up. There aren’t any hotels within walking distance of City Park, but there are numerous resources for transportation to get you there. Check out the transportation section of our blog for more information.

This will be our 3rd year and we always stay in the French Quarter. You can get really good hotel prices, I’ve already booked a place for $135/night. It’s a super quick trolley ride (I’m pretty sure it was around $2) that you can catch anywhere on Canal St. And I don’t think they charged us at the end of the night and the line moves super quick. In the French Quarter you can get amazing food and the night life continues if you are not ready to call it a night after the park closes.
      Enjoy Voodoo!! Cheers

Love Voodoo!! This will be our 3rd year (2008/2010/2012) making the trek down from Canada, and can’t wait. Just one slight disappointment with the pre-release teaser of the artist line-up – not who was listed BUT that no female artists were named. In past years we have seen some amazing female artist so I know they will be there it’s just that one or two should have been included in the teaser/1st release of names. Just wanted to bring it to your attention I’m not the only one who noticed.
    See you in October.

    • Hey Kimber, be sure to check out artists like Yo-Landi Vi$$er of Die Antwoord, Nervo (writers of “When Love Takes Over” and they have written songs for Ke$ha and the Pussycat Dolls), DEV (Vocalist of “Like a G6”), Delta Rae, The Vettes, or Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds. All of these artists feature strong female vocalists. Also, lets not forget “The Soul Queen of New Orleans”, Irma Thomas, who will be performing with Ingrid Lucia’s New Orleans Nightingales.

Is there a map of the Voodoo Fest area of City Park? Any visuals? Curious about the new festival grounds and where stages, bathroom, food vendors, parking, art, camping and anything else will be located. Thanks a bunch.

The Expendables/ Iration are doing a fall tour. They have a show in Tallahassee, FL on October 26, and a show in Baton Rouge on October 30. They are completely free the days of VooDoo music fest. As a fan, I want to see these awesome bands play voodoo. For more info on their tour dates you can check them out at http://www.facebook.com/iration/app_123966167614127 . Give them a chance! They play great live performances!
